ok, im 11..and i am thinking about getting braces,
so,
1. what colors should i get?
2. What is it like when they change out the wires?

uMmM i stuck to silver and black rubber bands..just because they matched everything..but some of my friends who played sports used to put the school color in. ((Kinda cute))
The wire changing doesnt hurt..there's a bit of pressure when they snip it but other than that it's a cake walk. You get used to it too..
uMmM the only part i hated was that i couldnt eat two of my favorite things..Caramel and Beef Jerkey. I actually broke bracket once because i was really hungry and bit into a WHOLE apple..lol. I don't reccomment that.And i wasn't SUPPOSED to chew gum..but i did. lol.
The best feeling in the world is getting them taken off..the only thing that sucks is that you're teeth feel kinda slimy cuz you're not used to the wires not being there.
