I have used smokeless tobacco for amost 30 years.?
Used for almost 30 years and I dont say that proudly but my dilemma is within the last year everytime I put it in my mouth I cant leave it in there very long or it makes me nauseated. Used skoal long cut straight. I thought something changed in that so I tried a couple others but same thing makes me nauseated after a few minutes. Obvious you can say it is a sign to quit but still have the strong addiction. Anyone ever experience this and what may be going on with me?

My patients tell me that the addiction of smokeless tobacco, snuff or cigarettes is really difficult to kick. That being said, I would recommend that you go to see a dentist and have a dental exam. It is possible that you have a lesion in your mouth or perhaps it is a digestive issue, but it is probably easier and less costly to see a dentist first. Good luck!
