Will I ever be able to eat since I got braces?
I got braces yesterday and they're making my mouth very sore. Since I expected them to hurt right after I got them and they didn't, I tried to eat food I had to chew(they tell you not too). When I tried to chew it was SOOO messy and it hurt like hell!!! My top teeth hit the bottom brackets so it's hard to chew. Needless to say I ate soft foods all day and plan on doing the same today. Will I ever be able to eat normally again? I'm so frustrated:(

It's expected, had the same thing myself. Give it a few days, you'll be eating fine.
Had braces for almost 3 weeks here, am eating everything fine now, except hard crunchy foods - they are definite no no's at any time during your treatment.
Dose up on painkillers, eat soft foods until you stop getting the pain. Personally, it took me 5 days in total before I could eat properly. For those 5 days I lived off Chilli Con Carne and Soup.
