Braces have messed up my jaw.?!
Question: They made it recede. None of my family members have a receding jaw so I KNOW that it is not a genetically defective trait. I have pictures to prove the doctors that I had a normal jaw before I got them damn braces.
If I do that, can they cover my Jaw surgery?
I shouldn't have to pay for a mistake that THEY did.
by the way, I should mention I am 15 and I got my braces when I was 13.
As a matter of fact, most of my family have VERY strong jaws and chins yet I ended up messing up the picture because the stupid *** orthodontics assholes. My jaw is so much more back and it makes me look like a dumb@ss.

Just some pictures of what it is or they can do a surgery where they break your jaw and move it forward. You have to talk to them.
It has to be something else. Jaws dont recede. Maybe the braces are working really fast!
You know, I never had TMJ until after I had my braces, and now I have pain. You can talk to your orthodontist about it, and tell him what you think and ask him if it's possible.
