Whats the appropriate age for a child to get braces?!
Question: Any age is appropriate! The earlier the better I say. They'll not only have them off sooner but their teeth will be straighter. ...I don't think under 5 is okay though. Think of them in their high school years with beautiful straight teeth that don't have braces on them. They can have their first kiss braces-free!

I got them on when I was 9... everyone is different and it depends on how many teeth have been lost. see the orthodontist to get their opinion
