Orthodontist?

I come from another country to the US with my braces on, and I need to continue my treatment here. I went to the doctor and he charged me 150 for every month of the treatment regardles of how many times you come, but still have to pay if you dont come, obviously braces treatment is once ever 3/4 weeks. And the fee to take off the braces is 850. I've been doing treatment for 7 months now totalling to 1050.

The thing about this is that when I came here my doctor back in my country told me that I'm about to be done, maybe about 2 months or so. I was planning to take it off here and pay the 850 if he had done the treatment for 2 months, but he had kept me for up to 7 months now.

This is my question, I am going back to my country this summer, thats next month, and I suspect he knows this, so he told me to come back and have it off next week. Should I come back and have it off or just never come back to him?. I won't be reported to the police if I just stop coming will I?

I actually got my braces off but never payed and never came back to the place and that was august of last year and no police has come to collect anythin from me ?
so i dont know but i guess if you've payed everything you owe your fine
