I am scared about Braces?!
Question: I am going to the dentist on Tuesday! they r going to tell me about braces and how much they r going to cost!!
i am really scared that they will cost alot and my parents would be able to pay for it, but i really need braces!!
What should i do?
(i have tooth on the top of my gums and the dentist said i need more room in my mouth)

i have braces....and they r annoying...but they r worth it!!!!
imagine ur self w/out braces...and u'll have ugly teeth 4 the rest of ur life!!!!!!
braces do cost alot....but they pay off!!!!
u should be scared of gettin braces...they hurt once u get them on...but after a week...u'll forget u even have them on!
(and eat like soup and noodles once u get them on 4 the first time!!! u won't be able 2 eat any solid foods 4 about a week)

Think of it this way.. if you do get them, thats good for you, your health, and your appearance... and if you don't it saves your parent's money... but obviously if you're going to the dentist to learn about braces your parents have already decided that it is okay moneywise for you to get them.
I know. My parents were on a tight budget too, yet they still got me braces. But they say it's better to get your braces at a young age. I think it'll be good for you to go through with it. In the future it may be more difficult.
I had braces for a year and a half.. i got them off in 9th grade. I was actually excited to get them on, cause my teeth were pretty messed up, lol. but now i'm 21 and they are perfectly straight and I get complemented on my smile all the time (like you will when you get yours off).... so it was worthwhile.. they do hurt a little bit.. but don't be scared!
They are expensive but man are they worth it! I had braces back in JHS (now in college) and i love my smile now. Yes they are realllly expensive so shop around for the best price. insurance wouldn't cover it huh?
If the parents say no ask grandparents and aunt and uncles.
Tell you parents that your really self consciences about your teeth if they say no. Beg child, beg! but not annoyingly more sappy
And if you need more room the doctor is going to put a plate on the roof of your mouth (i had that too) not fun but again worth it!
PS: eat the biggest meal of you life before you get them. and take tyonel/asprin right before cause your ganna feel a lot of pressure.. and everytime they tighten them
they cost around 4500.00 you can make monthly payments about 125.oo a month. don't be scared. if they need fixin let them fix them. it'll be worth it.
depends if u have health care or not, i hav health care and everything is going to cost $1,200 and thats not just the braces that everything! and my cousin doesnt have health care and its goin to cost her $11,000 for everything!
Yeah..braces are pretty expensive. Mine cost 5000.
It's really worth it though.
What are they going to about the tooth, pull it..or put in spacers?

dont be scared. they arent so bad. SOOO MANY PEOPLE HAVE THEM. dont be nervous. the dentist knows what he/she is doing.
