Braces for 4 months? I'm so stressed?!
Question: hey all...so i had braces for about 3 years when I was like 12. I got them off, and my teeth were fine...not flawless, but they were fine. Apparently, I got a really ineffective retainer for my teeth, so the bottom ones shifted a small bit, and the top two front teeth barely shifted. The new ortho, a very nice lady, told me that it would take four months to fix the shift on the bottom. I am really stressed out about it because I dont want to have braces again, but then agian, I really have no choice. I will have them off by the time i go to college in the fall, so it's fine, but my question is, if the front two teeth have barely shifted, can they give me a retainer to help straighten them out...and secondly....4 months....only on bottom...worth it?

I think it would be worth it. If I were you, I would deffinetely do it because Iwould want my teeth to be flawless! Go for it! I bet they will look even more incredible when it's done.
i would do it. my ortho, 8 years ago, put a permanent little metal strip behind my front 4 bottom teeth, when i got my braces off to prevent that from happening. it has kept my teeth straight since.
oooooooooooooooooo that sucks! im sorry about that! I think you should gat braces, that way you know your teeth are almost perfectly straight
