you might feel a little nudge when they pull the braces off but it shouldn't hurt as much as people tell you.
P.S. you won't be able to stop licking ur teeth after getting your braces off
I've had three set of braces off/on
and for the most part no it doesn't hurt, it just gets really annoying when they need to hold your mouth open for a long time
the only time that it does hurt is when they need to take off the glue, yes that will hurt a little, but that doesn't last very long!

Not really. they just pull the brakets off. but the rings around your back teeth might hurt when they try to take them off.
You will be sore for a couple of hours, like when they adjust the wires each appointment.
They use a tool to 'pop' off the glued-on brackets, and that stresses your teeth a little.
Before you leave the office, lick your teeth, feeling specifically for traces of the adhesive. They need to be scraped off, and sometimes the dental assistant misses a bit. (I had a bit of 'invisible' glue on a front tooth for YEARS before my regular dentist realized it was glue and flaked it off).
