I have seen patients with surgical extractions heal in 1 to two weeks. It all depends on the individual and how well you nurse the area.

Probably a couple weeks. Be sure to rinse your mouth out after you eat so no food gets in the place where the tooth was and don't worry the body has a way of healing itself.
