Length of Healing for Wisdom Tooth Extraction?!
Question: I got my wisdom teeth removed 2/18/08 (Monday, Presidents Day) I have no dry socket, and I've recovered from pain today (2/23/07). How long does it take to FULLY heal. I am 14 years old, by the way.

It completely depends on how impacted they were and how difficult they were to get out. Simple, not impacted teeth extractions should heal in less than 5 days (though I still wouldn't chew food that tears your mouth up on that side, personally), more complicated extractions can take upwards of 2-3 weeks. The worst of it should be over within a week, even in complicated procedures.
If nothing else, you should be able to phone up your dentist and discuss complications with him/her or a dental assistant (they're very knowledgeable too, and generally quite friendly I've found). You certainly shouldn't be bleeding after a week, and most of the pain should have abated after a week or so as well. For complicated extractions, the pain typically peaks/is at it's worst 2-3 days after the surgery and starts mellowing out after that.
Mine took only 24 hours to heal.

It really depends a lot on each individual situation. I had all four of mine removed at the same time, all were impacted, and 2 were sideways. It took me over 2 weeks to fully recover from that. Some people can have one taken out and be perfectly fine in two or three days. I would say for you, though, give it a few more days and you should be good as new.
Had two pulled and played golf that afternoon. Depends on the complexity of the extractions.
