Does turning(expanding) a palatal expander trigger any significant pain?
I just had an expander lut it Tuesday morning, and it's been feeling a little awkward- like a weird tightening sensation. But, I've been wondering if it's going to get worse. Is this going to casue pain later on?
Answers:
they're definitely not comfortable, but they're not too horrible. Granted, every time you use the key to spread it a little more it's going to suck for a few hours, but you'll get used to it. You'll survive, I swear.
