Those are canker sores or ulcers warm salt water rinses will help and also you could put a little piece of wax on the spot where it is rubbing your cheek so it wont irritate it worse than it has already with out any thing these last about seven to fourteen day (sorry) try the wax it will at least keep them from getting worse .HOPE IT HELPS
Usually just a couple days.
my brother had braces for a few years and the pains seemed to stay for a few days after each tightening of the braces. So each month or whenever your braces are adjusted the pains will return temperarilly.
Just a couple of days when you get them on and tightened. Also, when you start wearing rubber bands they hurt because your teeth are shifting.
So make sure you wear your bands, because they will hurt alot more later!
it will hurt for a few days.... i just got my braces off... its all worth it!!!

When I was wearing braces, the pain would usually stay a few days... not more than a week.
