Thick coating in mouth associated with toothpaste?!
Question:
Thick coating in mouth associated with toothpaste?
I clean my teeth and rinse before going to bed each night (well, nearly each). In the morning, in the space between my inner cheeks and my teeth, and around my teeth, there is always a white membranous coating thick enough to be chewy. When I miss cleaning the night before, it doesn't form. What could this be?

Thanks for asking this question. I had the same issue when I used a specific Crest toothpaste. I'm not sure what causes it, but once I stopped using this toothpaste and switched to a different brand, I no longer had the white chewy coating in my mouth the following morning.
