Question:
Does my permanent crown suppose to be sensitive to touch even though it's been a week?
Answers:
Teeth with crowns can be sensitive for awhile, simply because they are somewhat traumatized by being worked on. So much tooth structure is removed that it is normal to be sensitive. If it is especially sensitive to pressure, the occlusion (bite) could be high. This will always cause discomfort. Or, the nerve inside the tooth could be traumatized enough that it will require a root canal to get better.
