I say after brushing them. That way you have taken off all the yuck and stuff that maybe on them. Then after you use the teeth whitening thing I would wait about an hour and brush them again. That way you get all the stuff from the teeth whitening out of your mouth. =) p.s. I like your pic. shes cute. =)
