What is the entry level salary for a dental hygeinist?!

Depending on your area and the demand you are looking at somewhere between $30-35 per hr if you lived in my area. This will depend on you working full-time vs part-time and if you receive benefits or not. This is on average- some can earn more, some less.
From what I have been told it is the Dentists office that makes the difference- some might offer less pay per hr, but give you more vacation time.
You can always check around and look a some of the salary calculators to see if you are getting a reasonable answer- Salary.com will provide you with an estimate base on zip code (from # years experience). You can then play with the hourly wage and deduction amounts to see what you would bring home in pay.
