Last wisdom tooth question?!

Question: how big do they have to get so they can be removed?

Answers: how big do they have to get so they can be removed?

They can be removed whenever, even when it hasn't surfaced. But if it doesn't bother you, you don't have to remove it. When the tooth is about to surface, there's an increased risk of bacterial infection, so this is when pulling them should first be done.

They can be removed even when they are small. They don't have to be a specified size for extraction. It is better to have them removed when you are younger, because when you get older the bone surrounding them gets harder and makes it tougher to remove them.

Wisdom teeth can be removed as long as we see then in a x-ray and the patient is willing to have them removed. Generally it is more convenient for the patient & the dentist to have them removed the sooner the better, even if the roots of the teeth have not yet closed completly!! Remember that teeth form around a small sack like embryo that when you remove them when they are still in the embryo looking sack they are a lot easier to be removed!! Good Luck

IS IT REALLY NECESSARY TO REMOVE THEM?
WHY?
ARE THEY GIVING YOU PAIN?
IS YOUR MOUTH TOO SMALL FOR THEM?
DO YOU NEED BRACES ARE THESE IN THE WAY?
ARE YOU UNABLE TO CARE FOR THEM?

they can be removed but surgically. if you want a normal extraction wait till the tooth is visible enough and the extraction device(pliers) can be used without slipping.
