Can being intubated affect your dental work?anesthisia?!

Question:

Can being intubated affect your dental work?anesthisia?

I was put under general anesthesia on tuesday for an operation and they had to put a tube down my throat, I had recently had a root canal with a temp. cap on it. Now this is infected, of course it's the weekend and my dentist is not available til Monday..they sent me script for antibiotics

Answers:

HELLO LISA,
THE USE OF A TUBE DOES NOT ALTER YOUR DENTAL WORK IN ANY WAY. THE INFECTION OF THE TOOTH IS COINCIDENTAL AND HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE TUBE DOWN YOUR THROAT.
