Root Canal - I had a root canal done a few years ago?
I have had a root canal done a few years ago. Like say about 10 yrs ago. Recently the root canal has been brakeing off sence April of this year. I don't think its broken off anymore though. The Silver thing is showing whatever it is.Its sorta sore When I chew on it but it don't hurt. IT feels weird. Also I was brushing my teeth & I noticed theres a little blood there while I was brushing. I don't know if it was there before or after. Can Anyone tell me what I should do?

It sounds like you had a metal post put inside the tooth when the root canal was done and this is what you are seeing. If some of the tooth has broken off you should see your dentist so they can build it up again. Once you have a root canal the tooth usually needs to be crowned (capped) to hold it together since the lack of nerve inside the tooth causes it to become brittle. I would get it evaluated because if you wait and it breaks down furthur you will probably need to have it removed. The bleeding may just be caused by irritation or build up in the area. Good luck!
