Cavaties and tooth pulled recovery time?!

Question: I'm getting a couple cavities filled and 1 wisdom tooth pulled soon...The dentist uses full sedation denistry and she said its better to do this work now and get the other 3 wisdom teeth pulled next year from someone else she will refer me too.
It costs like 2000 dollars for cavaties and 1 wisdom tooth extracted...but my insurance pays 1500 of it...she said wait til next year when my benefits are back to get the 3 wisdoms pulled unless they bother me right now and they dont...How long do you think it will take me to recover...kinda weary about it..i am 26 and this is the first time i ever got a cavaity or a tooth pulled LOL....well at least i will be sedated thru this and when i wake up my teeth will be better.....thats a bright side to look at...

you should take it easy the day of the procedure when having extractions..no heavy lifting etc.. you can expect some soreness for a few days..your mouth will feel disgusting and you can rinse your mouth as much as you want, but avoid spitting, it can pull the clot and delay your healing. you can brush your teeth the next day but stay away from the extraction site for a few days. the fillings should not be sensitive or painful if the are "white" or compsite fillings..if they are something is wrong with either the tooth or the filling. you should feel much better the next day and be fine!

I had all 4 wisdom teeth surgically extracted at once, and was in hospital for 3 days. There is no reason why you should not be up and about right away - once the anaesthetic has worn off.

I don't know your circumstances, but all my teeth were impacted and there was no room for them to 'crown' in the mouth. All had to be taken at once. Naturally I was given general anaesthetic in hospital for this.
As it sounds as if you are staying in the dentists surgery - I would expect you would be O.K. as soon as anaesthetic wears off - with a little soreness from the extraction for maybe
a week or so.

well im no expert but on the extraction of your wisdom tooth it just depends if its a simple extraction or surgical but could be just a few days to like a week of recovery time. i wouldnt worry about the fillings that should be fine. good luck with that.
