What are the bumps that are in my mouth?!
Question: I just got braces on about 3 weeks ago and my tongue as been aggrivated. It has little red bumps on the tip of my tongue. It doesn't hurt when you leave it alone but eating and touching my braces still hurts. Could it be getting cut on my braces or could it be something else?

its like a little red bumpy thing that sticks out from everythin and it hurts like hell if you push it or sumfin.
Its just like you biting your tounge then you get that lil bumby thing. u may have like cought your tunge on a sharp bit of metal stickin out. itl go awy in a few days. If youve got a sharp thing stickin out got 2 the otrthadontist and get wax strips. these u put over the braces to make em smoother. And the bits around your moulers may catch on your inner cheek thing. so if it dus get the orthadontist to fix it for u. And awlays brush or theyll be yellow at the end of it all. and u can eat and drink anything dw bout what they say. lol
btw, itl really hurt when you get them tightened. you wont be able to bite down on anything fo a few days.!

It hurts the toungue and sumtyms the skin inside.. so its ok.. U'r mouth is adjusting... it will soon be over...

I got bumps on ma tounge and gums wen i had mine on 4 month ago - pain killer or sufin like bonjella helped your brace hurt 4 ages.
I got mine tightened 2day and i'm in for a sleepless night :(
but it'll all be worth it in the end
