Overbite problems?!
Question: i have an overbite and i recently got my braces but now the prob is that my back molars don't meet.. and i cant eat anything except really gooey stuff. is this normal? the dentist says it should go away in a few days but i'm worried. the brackets from the bottom teeth are prevented my top teeth to go down (so the back molars meet)

I had that problem when I first got braces...don't worry it should go away on its own. For now you just have to suffer...and be careful you don't bite down really hard and pop the brackets off!
It will take alittle while for those teeth to move.
Just give it awhile.
Hey I had braces put on over a year ago and still have them right now :)
When I first had my braces on my teeth felt so painful I couldn't even eat bread!
Please don't worry however - think of the end result mine are almost perfect so I'm pleased and it was worth it.
Braces feel bigger than they actually are - your mouth will get used to them!
Trust me on this one =)

my friend had this problem, and the dentist is right. It will go away in a few days it will take time to move the teeth but in the end it will be perfect!
