Thanks!

the people who said it was worse than having a child went to a dentist in a back alley somewhere with no anasthetics cause it's not bad at all. lol. i had all four done at once and the only drawback was having swollen chipmunk cheeks for a day or two and not being able to eat solid foods. it's not bad, just have your mummy buy you a lot of jello and puddings before hand, cause that's all youll be able to eat unfortunately :/ and make sure you do some gentle saltwater rinses when the dentist says it's okay, it helps the healing.

dont worry! the dentist will drug you up lovely and all youll feel is a pulling sensation and taste a lot of blood. close your eyes and think about how the dentist just got you high for free! HAHA =) it'll be fineee, no worries!

My prediction?----Pain!!!

I had all 4 of mine removed at the same time. It only hurt when the pain medication subsided so I had to take more. After a couple of days I was fine. You will be fine. It's an ache that is easily remedied by pills that your dentist will prescribe. Don't suck on anything like straws, cigarettes, or anything else that's going to cause air to rush over your gums. Keep the gauze in your mouth over the open sockets as much as possible. Piece of cake.

I got all four of mine out at the same time and after the procedure I was in the worst pain I have ever felt. i'm not trying to scare you but be prepared to take medication like clockwork however everyone reacts differently so you may be fine. eat lot's of ice cream and broths because you will barely be able to open your mouth. good luck!

It depends if they are impacted or not. If they just have to pull them it is not that bad. If they are impacted then it does hurt but you should be over it in a couple days. Also the dentist should give you something for the pain.

as long as you do what to doctors tell you to do and what not to do--like don't drink from a straw--you'll be fine. it hurts, but they'll give you medicine for that. i had the worst case scenario because i had 5 wisdom teeth and the pain still wasn't that bad--the only bad thing is you can't eat much for a few days. but you'll be fine

Keep your wisdom teeth and care for them as for the other teeth, if they do not cause any special problem for you.

The dentist (oral surgeons) want to earn money on you, and exaggerate the problems wisdom teeth can cause.

Don't listen to those people you are referring to. It isn't that bad. Your dentist will tell you what to not do afterwards, like drinking from a straw will cause you to have a dry socket. Just don't use a straw. He/She may tell you to use warm salt water to swish around your mouth with. It will also speed the healing and toughen the gums quicker. He/She will also tell you to have liquids in the beginning, then soft foods, and nothing to hot. (Good time for ice cream and popsicles, pudding!) I had 4 wisdom teeth taken out. You will be just fine. You can ask if you are not told, about pain releiver, like tylenol or whatever. They will advise you, if you need any. You won't feel a thing when they do this. Who ever told you that is trying to scare you. Just let your dentist know you are apprehensive, and they will put your mind to ease. You will be just fine, really! Try to remember when you go in, that in a week, you will be so much better. That helps me sometimes when I have procedures to go through. Some people get off on scaring others. They are just being smart a**es. Take care now, and listen to your dentist. :)

It will hurt, so prepare for that.
They'll give you a prescription for some pain meds so be sure to get that filled a.s.a.p!
Be sure to have a couple cold compresses handy too.
You won't be able to eat for a while so have some juices, gatorade, whatever you like to drink around. When my brother had his out he drank milkshakes a lot. It kept him full and the coolness helped his gums.
Good luck!
