Question:

Bone spurs in gums?

I had my bottom teeth removed 3 weeks ago.Now i have bone spurs. The dentists wants to file them down. Will this hurt? And what will they do?thank you

Answers:

the dentist will usually numb the area and file the spur....it should not be too traumatic.....bone spurs are quite common after extractions
