Dental plaque build up due to anti convalescents?
need to have a 40 minute appointment with hygines to clean teeth due to build up
already have teeth scale and polish every 3 months so why the big appointment
I dont like the dentist at the best of times
how to prevent plaque ?
Answers:
40 minutes is not an excessive amount of time for a cleaning. If you have been getting your teeth cleaned in 15-20 minutes, that may be part of the problem.
I assume you mean anti-convulsion medication? Like Dilantin? You may want to talk to your medical doctor about trying some of the newer medications for seizures. I don't think they affect your gums as bad.
Get a Sonicare electric toothbrush and floss 2-3 times daily. Rinse with Listerine for a full 60 seconds at night. Make sure you are taking at least 2 minutes when you brush. Time yourself, 2 minutes of tooth brushing is a long time!
