Please help! Dental question. Really scared.?!

Question:

Please help! Dental question. Really scared.?

Okay here's the situation. I got a root canal two weeks ago. I was eating lunch today and my tooth chipped. The filling was still intact. I went into the dentist and they said it looked fine and that I shouldn't worry about it. I came home and ate again and now the filling is gone. I'm worried that too much of my tooth is gone and that I won't be able to have the crown put on. About half of the front part of the tooth is gone and the inside. Some of the filling is still left but not much. If anybody could shed some light and ease my worries about how much of the tooth is needed to do the crown and also can they redo the filling? Also what are my options if they can't fix it? I'm thinking extraction and a bridge. By the way this is my top second molar from the back on the right. How much do bridges run and also are there any other options such as dentures? or anything else? Please help. My dentist is already closed for the weekend and I am really worrying about the cost of this. Thanks!

Answers:

They should be able to put a crown. I don't think crowns have fillings. Implants appear to be the best but are like $3,000 unless insurance can help or if there's any way he can come down on the price. That's why I think Dentistry is way to overrated because they make it way to impractical to fix your darn teeth! =<)
