i am 2 months pregnant with my 3rd bby..just like the previous pregnancy my tooth always aches straight for one week and will ache again after a month..i just take biogesic paracetamol cause according to tv commercial its safe for preggy..but still my tooth aches.. my dentist refuse to take out my aching tooth because she says that the bby is getting the calcium from the mother..i have read some answers here and they say cloves oil is the best medicine,,i wonder what does clove oil looks like and how can i get one,,because here in philippines i dunno who to ask what cloves oil is,,and what does it looks like?

It is called "Oil of Cloves" and you DO NOT want to use this! Yes, it does help for a SHORT amount of time, but it will also burn the tissue with repeated use and does nothing to solve your problem, it treats the symptoms. You need to get a better dentist. Most dentists don't want to take xrays while you are pregnant, especially while the baby is developing in the 1st and 3rd trimester. Get yourself in to an ORAL SURGEON they are more apt to help you and take the most precautions with the least amount of risks that will harm your developing baby. Also before you start ANY over-the-counter remedies/medicine or any other type of medications contact your OB-GYN to see if they are safe for you and your baby. Just because these products are available to the average consumer without a prescription does not mean they are safe to take especially while you are pregnant.
