Pretty much any dentist office you call will be happy to have you come in and observe. They make great mentors.
agree with cjmacri. I don't know why but in general most dentists are really cool about having observers and helping out those interested. Some aren't so if you run into those, don't take it personally. I also started in com college and observed in multiple offices prior to becoming a dentist (vote for cjmacri best answer). Keep up the hard work and good attitude!
