Do braces give your a big mouth?!
Question: i was thinking on getting braces cuz i have two tooth that are a little of place but i wanted to know if the braces give you a big mouth cuz i have a cousin who used to wear braces and now she has a big mouth and i don't want to get them if they give you a big mouth....

braces do not give you big mouth! braces create space in either upper or lower jaw , and it all depends!!! how narrow your arch is?? if only 2 teeth are out of place , the orthodontist is not gonna treat you the same way as someone with extreme crowding,,, to make it short , i don't know what happened to yur cousin or how she was treated and if the treatment was good ( not every DDS or orthodontist is bright!) so her case is an isolated case that i have heared...my best advice, dont go to her doctor, choose another certifed Orthodontist , not a DDS who does bracets in her./his office ....
If you want crooked teeth don't get them
I have braces and it doesnt give me a "big mouth".
your mouth may look bigger because you have extra "stuff" in your mouth.
And unless your orthodontist says you need them DO NOT ASK FOR THEM!!!!
YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!!!
