Can you smoke with braces on?

And if yes, what are the advantages and disadvantages of doing so with braces..does it ruin the braces or the final appearance of your teeth? or both? what do you suggest?..can i still do it? or should i quit it...

its sort of hard to quit all at once..i don't want to ruin the braces because i've paid so much. I still care more about my smile...what can i do?

Yes you can smoke, but I must warn you about the color after braces. I had braces twice for the total of about 6 years but I didn't smoke. Since smoking causes yellow stains you will probably have unnoticeable yellow teeth and when the braces come off it will be a white strip where the braces where causing you and others to notice the discoloration of your teeth
