Dear God I need help right now!?!
Question: i lost the top of my retainer that costs $400! my mom is super mad cause she doesn't have the money to pay for it. i need a super fast way and i mean SUPER fast way a 13 year old can make $400 in about a month or less. please, if i don't get my retainer, my teeth will look so messed up u wouldn't believe it! PLEASE HELP ME!!! i really need help. i feel so horrible for losing it. i swear i might cry! please, please, please help me!

i admire your desire to work to pay for it!......but if i were you i'd go ahead and tell her......my son lost his 3 times!! and he's still alive and well living in sacramento.....i appreciated his honestry...
Offer to babysit your neighbors kids, walk their dogs, anything..
Better set up a lemonade stand.
put up babysitting/petsitting flyers

Go out and shovel a lot of people's driveways and explain your situation to them. They might be willing to chip in to your "Retainer Fund". And even if they don't it's a nice thing to do for neighbors and it will help to teach you a lesson. :)
yeah sure ill write you a check right now. NOT! to bad like i tell my kids, if you werent playing with it you wouldn't of lost it
the only thing a 14 yr old can do is clean houses and babysit... spread the word. becareful, only go to those folks you know personally. talk to yoru mom about this a bit more, she might have calmed down long enough, might not be that much to get a new one, they already have your molds and measurements.... have her check with your dentist ..godo luck
ask a relative to get u a job like at a college cleaning. i get 300 dollars every two weeks
ahhh i hate retainers...i've lost mine 3 times. not fun! try having a car wash. also, something i discovered today when i was getting my christmas tree... get a job at a christmas tree place where you help put the trees on people's cars and stuff. they give hugeeeeeee tips in the holiday season!
Try babysitting anyone, sell all the stuff you dont use, help out in your neighborhood, and do extra chores.. I had the same problem, but I didnt have to pay for it....

work after school, you have about a month. do odd jobs and explain to the person why you are working. A good sob story gets a little more money for a small job.
Whoa, this is serious. Well, If I were you I would try it like this. Firs I would try to look for the lost retainer, try to remember the last place you had it with you. If you can't find it, then I would try to lend money from my grandparents or relatives, I would also suggest selling something if you can. Good Luck I'm rooting for you to succeed
At least bad teeth won't kill you.Don't worry..and I'm sure you mum's not that mad..as the amount of things I've lost over the years...well I did have a list but I've lost it...
You might be too young to babysit, so shoveling snow, working at a place with Christmas trees (GREAT idea!) and any other job that pays cash.... maybe even 'working' for your neighbors after school.... like cleaning their houses/apartments, going grocery shopping with them... let them know WHY you need the money...
...and who knows, maybe you'll find the retainer? Did you look under your bed and in the bathroom? How about in your top dresser drawer?

I would spend every awake hour looking for it , Back track every place you were and where you might of taken it out ,No one would steal it, what would they do with it, It has to be somewhere, check lost and founds in stores school any where you were ,
