yes, they hold your jaw open allowing the TMJ to rest
at bedtime, be sure to brush and floss before inserting the bite splint
mm it depends on the problem.. but other than that see ur dentist and tell him u have a tmj problem. it it pops when u yawn or something like that, see ur dentist immediatly..thats not a good sign that ur tmj is popping cuz that means the ligaments up there are wearing off and surgery corrects that problem.but i highly reccomend that u put off surgery(if you are young).
