Before I call my old orthodontist... What do you do when your retainer wears out!
Question: My last orthodontist appointment was 3 years ago. They told me wear my retainers a few times a week for the "rest of my life" and then sent me on my way....
But now they are kind of worn out, falling out when I put them in.. I don't want to stop wearing them every once in awhile because they are still useful.. do you think the orthodontist would still have my files and such?
I guess i"ll call them one of these days...

Yea..I think your orthodontist still have your info. Just call them and find out. I doubt that they would throw them out that fast. The info could then be easily transfered to your new doctor. The reason why ur retainer falls out is because your teeth moved and dont fit the retainer anymore...anyway..lol good luck!
