Do I really have to give up beer to lose weight?!

Question: Do I really have to give up beer to lose weight?
I love drinking beer. I drink about 5 days a week. I have previously been losing weight and cutting back on foods, but I have been stuck at the same weight for a while. I notice that when I skip a few nights of drinking, I lose a few pounds, and when I drink the next couple nights I put it back on. I don't want to just drink on weekends! But honestly, do I have to cut back more on drinking to lose more weight?

Answers:

Yes, unfortunately you do. It's sad but true. I don't know if you drink regular beer or light, but switch to light if you haven't already. Michelob Ultra is low carb and low in calories. Also, there are a few others that have even less calories. Bud Select 55 has less than Mich and then there's also MGD 65 if you don't like Bud. Perhaps just switching to light will help you lose weight. However, if it doesn't, you may have to do what I did and that is limit yourself to only 2 alcoholic beverages per week. It is hard and it sucks, but it helps. Also, does it have to be beer that you drink? A vodka and diet soda has only 60 calories. And, red wine actually has more health benefits than it does negatives. Hope I helped some. Good luck!

Currently on a diet

eat healthy and exercise for 6 days of the week
if you finish that successfully then award yourself by having beer one day of the week.

Ok you shouldn't drink 5 days a week anyway.
Yea beer has alot of calories, so if you want to continue losing weight i suggest cutting it out.

Yeah beer makes people fat
just give up and do sport, you can see the difference
