How much can YOU lift on a set of bicep curls?!
Question: How much can YOU lift on a set of bicep curls?
Basically, I've been trying to work out my arms more and more often. I'm just curious what comfort levels you guys have reached on bicep curls using a dumbbell.
I'm aiming for bigger arms at the moment and have been slowly increasing the weight. Is there a weight your currently comfortable at with a single dumbbell where you no longer have to increase the amount of weight so I can use this as a reference or a goal more or less?

Well, I'm currently comfortable with 12 pound dumbbells. But I'm a tiny female.
I can curl 45 lb dumbells, but i work out a lot, so its not something you should try right away. Start with tens or fifteens and do what is called a 21. do seven zotman curls, 7 regular curls, and 7 hammer curls and thats one set, do that three times. If you don't know zotman or hammer curls are look them up on youtube. its a real tough workout but it works real well
