Im no expert, im skinny and im rubbish at keeping to diets anyway. But for new year I decided to try and lose a couple of pounds, I stuck to my diet for 2 weeks and I lost 3 pound.
All I did was cut down on cakes sweets chocolate 100% and snacked on natural low fat yogurt and fruit, I ate vegetable stir frys with soy sauce.
I think the trick is to get food that is as low as possible in saturated fats. I didn't worry too much about my calories I just ate low fat and didn't eat for the fun of it.
You can buy low fat book recipes and here are some foods low fat and calorie foods:
Vegetables:
Cucumber, courgettes, potatoes, Mushrooms, Tomatoes
Fish:
Canned crab (in water) cod fillets, haddock, lemon sole, tuna in brine
Meat
Turkey rasher, Chicken fillet
Dairy, fats & oils:
skimmed milk, egg white, fromage frais(very low fat), skimmed milk soft cheese
Fruit:
Oranges, Grapefruit, peaches, pears
Also exercise will obviously help, try going for a walk a few times a week or go to the gym.
Well it is very hard to lose something that's attached to you,but I think it can be done. All you need to do is cut it out,put it in a paperbag and leave it in the woods somewhere. Hopefully it doesn't know the way back to your house,or else we'll have to think of a better plan.
Cardio, four 10min runs each week or two 20min runs each week, sit ups and eating healthier, cut out alcohol :)
