Do I have a Eating Disorder?!

Question: Do I have a Eating Disorder?
Ever since I was 12 i've been obsessed with weight, I was big, around a size 14 when I was around this age and so when I turned 13/14 I hardly ate, I became vegitarian and counted calories and had a food diary. By christmas 2009 I was a size 6-8 I felt happy for once. Now for the last few months i've started putting on weight again and found myself making myself throw up sometimes once a week but when I feel really low, its more frequent. I don't binge eat I'm more likely to eat an apple a day for 4 days then a sandwhich and feel so guilty I have to make myself sick. Ive read that bulimia is when you binge eat and then purge.

Hello,
Try to include more resistance traning in your workouts. Why? Reason is simple, muscle is a great fat burner even at your resting metabolic rate means that you will burn more calories . Cardio only burns while you do it and once you stop runing its not really doing much for you until the next day .So if you are looking to burn fat and want to make it easier to keep it off you must include resistance. Calorie intake is important but the basic rule is burn more calories than you eat to lose fat. So since 3500 calories equals to one pound of fat if you cut 500 calories daily from you daily intake or burn 500 calories more than you eat in a day. You can lose 1 pound a week. Hope this helped.

You most likely could have a mixture of different eating disorders. This is extremely harmful for your body. I know what it's like to want to be thin, but this is not the way to do it.

Please go talk to a responsible adult and possibly get therapy if you'd like it. Stop (or if you haven't been, don't start) starving yourself or throwing up.

You do :/ its tough, I'd see a psychologist if i were you. Since the mental stage has been brewing up since you were 12 so now it needs a professional.

Sounds like it. But see a doctor for a proper diagnosis.

you absolutely have an eating disorder

All you have to eat is an apple a day? I am pretty sure you know the answer to your own question....
