Help! Do I have an eating disorder?!

Question: Help! Do I have an eating disorder?
Okay, well I've been in and out of bad eating habits for the past 2 years, but I'm not sure if I have an eating disorder or just really want to be a certain weight.
I'm currently eating around 500 calories a day. I am using an iPhone app to track EVERYTHING I consume on a day to day basis; I ate 583 calories today and my goal was 500.. I feel physically sick and disgusted with myself.
Food, dieting and weight loss are always on my mind I'd say 2/3 of each day and usually when I have a little bit of money, I tend to buy things like caffeine tablets, laxatives, weighing scales etc.
I have been obsessed with 'thinspiration' and calorie counting sites, usually going on them at least once a day.
However I'm not sure if my actual eating habits are considered unhealthy.
I mean this obsession fluctuates over months; for example, one month I will eat a good amount of calories, say 1200 (mainly because I have to eat with my family) however I will still be guilty just not obsessed, whereas the next month I will NOT go over 500 calories and my whole day will be consumed thinking about calories and food.
I'm 5'4 and weigh 7'9, so not very unhealthy, however I feel so fat. I want to weigh 6'13.
So confused.
I don't think it's that serious yet, but I know that it's not really normal.
Oh, I did take a few online screening tests today, and my results have all been in the high risk category.
Do you think I have an eating disorder?
Thank you for taking the time out to read this.

ok Erin, I have an eating disorder. I started out just like what you just described. I don't think you have an eating disorder. YET. I do think you are dangerously close though. I think you are playing with fire. What you just described, it isn't good honey. I know I probably sound hypocritical when I say this but letting yourself get in this spot is the stupidest thing you could do. I know it is hard, and some days (maybe even most days) you will feel fat but you need to just get yourself eating AT LEAST 1200 calories every day and when ever you start to have those negative thoughts you need to pause and tell yourself one thing you like about yourself (that is what I do, and it really helps). I think you have an eating disorder. Just eat normal amounts of food(almost a full plate) at every meal and then just excersise daily so that you stay healthy. If you continue this you could get severly sick because your not getting all of the nutrients your body needs.

you will if you don't stop one the girl's in my class got chromes because she starved her self that's what you are doing she almost died! so stop now

my mum and dad are doctors

Yes, pet, you do have an eating disorder, and quite a serious one at that.

You are eating about a quarter of what you need to be able to function properly. And those laxatives and caffeine tablets are NOT good for you at all.

You need help, love, so get your mother to bring you to a doctor for a start.

sadly that is a eating disorder you are spose to eat at least 1,000 a day and i am over weight and know what it feels like to be fat but 500 calories is not enough pleasse see a doctor and if u want overweight read my Q

500 calories is nothing!!! You're going too die if you keep eating that amount. Why does every girl want too look like a stick? Us guys don't want that.
No wonder you keep getting up too eat, because you aren't eating enough! You are starving your body from the energy it needs, that in turn is making you feel sick and disgusted.

me

Im sorry but the answer is YES. you do have an eating disorder 500 calories/ day is way too low. The human body is requires so much energy to live and your giving yours less than one third of its requirement. this may sound harsh but continue at this rate and you will one day fall to floor unconscious or die
REMEMBER eating disorder is NOT ABOUT FOOD. IT IS A mental problem......your self esteem is rock bottom and you to fix that first I recommend a specialist/ counselling/ doctor what ever you choose. You CANT conquer these demons on your own please I beg you in the name of God to go to the doctors
