High Protein & Low Calorie foods?!?!

Question: High Protein & Low Calorie foods?!?
So, I'm very big on eating healthy and I always tend to eat too much carbs and not enough protein. Mostly because I'm in college and it's easier to keep carb-filled snacks around, considering
many of the snacks I enjoy are primarily carbs.

Please do not tell me nuts!!! I do not like nuts and every time I ask people this they reply with nuts. I'm also not a fan of pb&j. If there are any protein filled/ low calorie snacks out there that don't require more than a refrigerator and a microwave PLEASE let me know!

Thanks!

Tuna. 14g of protein and 50 calories and that's only one of 2 servings! You wanna get big but cut at the same time....low carbs high protein!

Well if you don't like nuts or all-natural nut butters (which are some of the best things that you can eat), then I would suggest supplementing your protein requirements with a glass of 1%/2%/Whole milk + a 3/4 scoop of all-natural whey protein powder. Probably half of my daily protein comes from that, since I'm not an overly-avid meat eater.

You can also buy a fully cooked whole rotisserie chicken at Sam's Club or your local supermarket deli for around $5-7 and eat it cold from the refrigerator all week long (or microwave heat it up with some pepper-jack cheese on top of it or whatever). I do that regularly as well. Good stuff.

Tuna/chicken salad, (I think star kist has seasoned or flavored packs w crackers prepacked) hard boiled eggs, protein bars/shakes (muscle milk pretty good...they make 100 cal cartons avail in 4 pks), cheese...doesn't necessarily need to be low cal, but low bad carbs and low bad fat

yeah tuna beef jerky and chicken man. Quinoa is high protein but hard to find. Protein shakes (have enough of these and you wont want to eat)

I know people who cook meat in their microwave. You need to have microwave safe bowls made of glass and something to cover the bowls to limit the splatter so you don't have to clean up so much. Cut the meat into bite sized pieces and pierce anything with a "skin" (chicken, sausages, etc.) with a fork before cooking. Place the biggest/thickest pieces on the outside because the outside gets cooked the most/fastest. Cut the meat to make sure it's cooked all the way through, then add salt and pepper or whatever sauces you like.

Other options are beans, tofu or, if you're able to boil water, you can make hard boiled eggs. Eggs are very cheap and are the best source of protein other than supplements. You can even boil water in a microwave, but it's much easier to use the stove top.
