Foods to add to my diet, suggestions?!


Question: Foods to add to my diet, suggestions?
I've been on a diet for a while & have lost 15 pounds. I've been eating veggies, fruits, protien, tuna, shakeology, yogurt, oatmeal, green tea, almond milk, raw almonds, peanut butter etc. {basic stuff, need to cook &make actual meals!} so ive lost 15 pounds &i miss foods &need to add variety to my diet. so im going shopping tomorrow & im getting
brown rice, wheat bread &pasta, tofu &low fat cheese & edamame.
Tofu to eat with rice & whole wheat bread to make sandwich's &whole grain pasta to eat with cheese, etc, what other things should i get that i will be able to use with foods i have, or use with other foods i should get? im a college student & need breakfast & dinner foods mostly because in between im eating luna bar's carrots fruits, stuff on the go. need good advice, help!

Answers:

You seem to have it covered. If you need variety you should play around with spices and more ethnic flavors. Maybe make a stir fry or a curry. Or some spicy chili and beans. Beans are also good money savers. And they can be so delicious if you buy them dry and cook them fresh instead of from a can. YUCK!
You are on a great diet! (I'm on a similar one)

Also, there are so many vegetables! Have you tried them all? Don't just limit yourself to peas and carrots. Eggplants, squash and artichokes are all very yummy!



Kale. Its a super food, good in salad and soup :)
