Are 20-25 lbs dumbbells enough to shape up my arms?!
Question: Are 20-25 lbs dumbbells enough to shape up my arms!?
I'm 120 lbs and pretty much stable on that weight!. I'm wondering is that weight enough to tone my arms (triceps, biceps, deltoids, forearms, etc!.) Or should I amp up the weight!? Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
Muscle gain is not all about the amount of weight that you are!. You are better off eating a bit more red meat (protein) and just staying with the weights that don't absolutely bust you're **** to lift!. After 12 repetitions you should feel the burn (strain) in your arms, this is the way to gain strength!. If it was too hard and you were really struggling by the 12th rep, step down a couple of pounds!. If you breezed through it, increase the weight!. Muscle gain is not hard, eat a balanced diet, DON'T eat protein supplements because you do not need to and just keep the excercises up!. Remember, don't overdo it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It's more than enough to start out with but after a while you will need to increase the weight in order to make gains!.
You should work on building your chest, legs, back, and shoulders first because whenever you do exercises for them they indirectly hit your triceps and biceps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Go heavy or go home, you don't ever want to feel 'comfortable' lifting weights, you gotta bust your a$$ lift as heavy as you possibly can keeping decent form to see any mass gains!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
