Question: What are some exercises that work the thighs and butt!?
because my gluteus is at its maximus

Please, none that require weighty or other equipment!.

The best way to lose size around the areas you give is to :

1!. lie on the floor on your stomach!. Raise your foot (one at first and then when you get better both feet together) keeping your leg straight!. Bring the foot off the floor as high as you comfortably can!. Hold it there for a count of 10, then lower!. Repeat this as many times as you wish!. Be careful because this really uses the gluts and you may have sore gluts next day!.!.!.!.and perhaps lower back too!.

2!. Imagine seeing yourself sitting in a chair from the side!. Now, you simply do a half-squat, that is, you bend your legs as though you were going to sit in an imaginary chair behind you!. Go down until your thighs are roughy parallel to the floor and your back is as straight up as comfortable!. You'll have to balance yourself by leaning forward a little and perhaps put your arms straight out in front of you as though you're pusing a person away from you!. Hold this for a count of 10 then stand tall again!. This will work the butt big time but will also firm/tone the quads in the fronts of the thighs!.

3!. I know you said no equipment but this is handy and just about every house has a couple!. Stand about 12 inches just in front of a chair or other heavy object which has an under surface about your knee height!. Stand with your back to it and then bend your leg up from the knee down back behind you until your heel hooks under it and try to lift that object!. Of course you don't need to actually lift it (so put some heavy objects on it) but it'll give you great resistance to your muscles!.

4!. Less effective is going up stairs!. It only has to be just one step up and one step down to do the job!. Keep doing 'step-ups'!.
