Congratulations on deciding to get ripped!

Creatine and protein are great supplements that do help the mid level to advanced body builders gain more muscle mass, but you are just starting out and do not need them!. If you follow a consistent diet of high protein, good fat's and carbohydrates and lift your butt off you should see some nice gains within a year!. People don't look like Ronnie Coleman and Lee Priest overnight, those are freaks of nature who were blessed with the right genetics and have been at this for years!. You are gonna hurt like crazy the more you get into it, but I will tell you, it's a good hurt and you will miss it when it goes because that is how I, for one, gaged my progress!. You don't want to go at it to hard, but you need to stay pleasantly sore!.

You don't gain muscles in the gym!. In the gym you are destroying your muscle fibers!. It is at home at rest when your body repairs the sheared muscle fibers that your gains come!. After you have built up a little mass, then creatine and protein ingestion will help facilitate that process!. IF you are a hard gainer, that is having a hard time to gain muscle and weight in general then you COULD investigate a good weight gain powder!. But those are mainly calories that you can dump in your body on top of your dietary regimen!. Muscle can not be built in a calorie deficit!.

I hope this answered your question!

Best of luck to you,

Creatine works to certain extent!. It gives energy to your muscles in your workout, but its a little harsh on your stomach!. You should take protein powder not pills, its more filling and will help you gain a considerable amount of weight rather quickly!. Seeing as you are just starting to work out, you shouldn't really be doing anything, you should just let your natural testosterone take its course for the first month or two then you should start scheduling meals, then taking protein for meal replacements/ weight gain a little laterWww@Answer-Health@Com

you can NOT gain muscle fast!. You have a small frame so your a hard gainer!. You definately need to EAT!. you cant just workout and grow, you grow after you workout when you eat and rest!. Eat alot of meat, take a protein shake after you workout and before you sleep!. Creatine and other drugs wont help you since your not at that level yet!.
Increase the amount of meals you eat!. Im your height and 170, i eat 6 meals a day to gain 10 lbs of muscle a year!.
You also need to workout heavy with weight, push ups will do nothing to build muscle mass!. Start benching, pull ups, squats and deadlifts HEAVY and EAT and youll blow upWww@Answer-Health@Com

80 pounds is good for your weight!.

To gain muscles, you need to buy a Protein shake supplement, like Muscle Milk, or another Whey protien and increase your protien intake daily to about 130-150 g of protien!.

Protein wont do anything bad to you, but make sure you are also weight lifting or it will not turn to muscle!.

During your workout routine, drink one protein shake throughout which will help with the rebuilding of your muscles afterwards!. Good Luck, and keep at it!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Definitely invest in some sort of protein supplement to aid with recovery and growth!. Creatine is also beneficial, although be skeptical as to what one you purchase!. I recommend Kre-Alkalyn or creatine monohydrate, purely because they're safe to use on a a long term basis!. In terms of a protein, you'll obtain more benefit from a formula with a high carb and calorie content!.

Ps: Join a gym! Pushups will only cut it for so long!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I may be a female, but my brother is an advanced weight lifter and taught me all the keys to building size and big muscles!. He knew all the stuff about building it as fast as possible (though it still takes time) and had all the best books on how to do it!. Not sure what it's called, but I'm sure he would recommend the book with Arnold Swarchenager and Franko Colombo!.

Your method of weight lifting is the key!. My brother taught me that to add muscle size and definition, it is necessary to do less reps with heavier weights rather than lighter weights with a larger quantity of reps!. To be specific, you need to put enough weight on your barbells that you could only do 7 - 8 reps maximum!. However, only lift it 6 reps rather then going to failure so you don't tear and rip your muscles!. Make sure you can do atleast one or two more reps when you stop!. If you tear your muscle, it takes more time for it to heal and does not help it to grow any faster!. Tearing your muscle also delays the time before you can work that muscle again, which actually slows down the building process!. If you aren't use to weight lifting, make sure you start out slow and nomatter what, always warm up your muscles first with a few repititions!! I'm sure you know that's very important so you don't cause an injury!.

Lighter weights and lots of reps is always best for girls who want to burn fat or tone up rather than add size and strength!. For guys who want big muscles, use heavy weights, do approx 6-7 reps with enough weight that you could do atleast 8, and don't tear your muscles for the fastest growth! I saw my bro build ALOT of meat doing this and he had smaller wrists too!. And of course, eat lots of protein - to do this efficiently you can always use protien shakes like Gainers Fuel or protien pills like you suggested!. However, a nice slab of meat or a plate of eggs will probably be enough, just make sure you eat manly portions!. I would do this right before or after your exercise session!.

I probably sound like a "know it all" for a girl, but my brother talked alot! Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
