How to lose weight safely?!


Question: How to lose weight safely!?
Ok im 16 and extremely overweight!. ive been battling with it for years and it only gets worse!. Dont tell me i dont try because i do!. at first i could lose the weight but not keep it off and now it just gets harder and harder to lose it!. i walk a mile to school and a mile home each day!. not to mention i walk from the 1st floor to the 3rd floor of school 4 or more times a day!. i eat right most of the time but it seems that if i have one bad thing a day it ruins everything and i GAIN weight or stay the same!. either that or i keep eating and tell myself ill do differently tomorrow!. it isnt like i want to be like this!. i do try!. addiction runs in my family!. my brother has a food addiction and i believe i have one too!. i try and fight it but i want it to deteriorate!. i am porobably the most active overweight girl you will see!. i play a varsity sport at school and i do exercise at home!.!. i used to ride the bike for an hour or more every day but i wouldnt lose weight!. i have no dissorders!. please help!.!. and be sensitive!. people always seem to think that fat people want to be fat!. if you are that kind of person then don't answer!. im tired of all these thin girls saying they are fat!. i want to hit them!. i want to be one of those girls!. i have a great personality but unfortunately in this world, looks do matter!.!.!. to everyone but meWww@Answer-Health@Com

Oh kiddo, I feel for you!.!.!. it is not an easy road!.

First I think you should talk to your doctor!. Ask to be referred to a Nutritionist about your eating habits and what foods are going to help you keep full but keep you healthy at the same time!. I also recommend you ask to see a therapist about your addiction to food!. You can learn coping skills so that you don't go to food when really your body does not need it!.


Juice is really bad!.!.!. so use Crystal Light instead!. Only have one slice of bread per day!.!.!. use it for 1/2 a sandwich at lunch with some turkey or chicken, dark green lettuce, tomato!. Watch how much sodium you are ingesting!.!.!. sodium is needed, but you do not want more than 2500mg per day!.!.!. so look at food labels and don't add salt to your food!. Bake your foods, not fry!. Try to eat a snack between classes like a banana or carrot sticks!.!.!. drink 6 glasses of water per day!. To help your metabolism, eat 5 to 6 smaller meals per day!.

Check your local community center and see what aerobic classes they have!.!.!.go swimming!.!.!. dance!.!.!. keeping active does not have to mean treadmills and gyms!. Do something you actually like!.!.!. that way you stay motivated!.

Lastly, don't be too hard on yourself!. I know that is hard to do when society wants people to be stick figures (which are not good looking if you ask me!.!.!. stick figures look gross to me)!. Keep that chin up and remember that you ARE beautiful!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Why do you want to be like them!? Don't you know that being fat (while if it can be a health hazard if you gain weight) doesn't have any effect on people after school!. As long as you're physically active like you say you are, you'll be healthy and fine!. If any one makes fun of you you have to remember that they have their own insecurities!. That thin girl may worry every day about how her nose is too big, or a "hot" girl would worry about all the pressure from horny guys trying to get at her!. Once you get out of the hell of high school and see the real world, you'll realize what people are truly like, fatness doesn't matter to them!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ok don't worry i feel the same!. i mean all these people say that i am skinny but im not im about 10 pounds or more overweight!. so im trying this!. i eat less than i usually do!. i drink water to fill me up so i will eat less!. i always have a water bottle with me!. so after you eat like 5-10 minutes later do some crunches or exercises!. i do about 50-100 crunches a day but not all at once!. i do it at different times!. when you get hungry then eat fruit as a snack!. grapes are good for you too!. also when you walk maybe you can powerwalk otherwise known as fast walk!. it helps!. also use this to count how much calories you burned while doing something!. by the way you have to burn 3500 calories to lose 1 pound!. i know its a lot!. REMEMBER ALWAYS TRY TO BE ACTIVE AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!!!!!
