Question: What are some iron rich foods!?
I have anemia and was told by my doc to take vitamins with iron but I also wanted to know what are some foods that will also give me lots of iron!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Foods rich in iron and the highest source of iron usually come from animal origin for example liver, kidneys and meats!.Heme Iron, found in animal sources, is highly available for absorption!. Non-heme iron on the other hand, found in vegetable sources, is less available!.
Pregnant women should not eat liver because of its very high Vitamin A content!.

~ I also have low iron and eat a healthy diet since a lot of veggies have iron!. However, I snack on pumpkin seeds which have a good amount of iron in them and is a very healthy snack!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Green vegetables have a lot of iron!. Spinach, broccoli, beans, cabbage etc!. If you're a meat eater then beef is a good source of iron!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
