What to eat before and after workout?!
Question: What to eat before and after workout!?
I am going for a 30 min jog on my lunch break at work!. Today for lunch I have a small piece of grilled chicken, veggies (broccoli, cauliflour and carrots) and a quarter cup of brown rice, and a small side salad!. So my question is should I eat the chicken/veggies/rice before or after my workout!? What about the salad!? Should I eat the bigger meal first, go for my jog, and then come back and eat my salad!? Pasta before, to give yourself some energy, and protein after, to build/repair muscle and bone!. Milk has a lot of protein if you're against killing animals (Mmmmmm animals!.!.!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com
