Your hamstrings are the muscles on the back of your leg stretching from your hip to your knee!.
To stretch these muscles (that are commonly tight in many people,) one stretch you can do is to sit on the floor with your legs extended, feet flexed (toes up, heels slightly off the floor) and, keeping your back completely straight, grab your foot (toe, heel, whatever you can reach) and reach your body forward as if you are trying to touch your nose to your toes!.

They are the leg muscles right below your butt, and to stretch them out I recomend putting your foot parrallell with the wall while you are standing staight up leaning against the wall, you should feel tenseness in your lower and upper leg!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
