Is it bad for me to work out without shoes?!

Question: Is it bad for me to work out without shoes!?
About every day or so, I work out in my room (which has tile flooring) and just pretty basic stuff - crunches, push ups, jogging, jump roping, and other little things they may mention in the health section of seventeen!. Most of the time I just do all this barefoot -- is this bad or making unwanted muscle in my calves!? I don't want to be like ripped, just trim!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
You should have something supporting or cushioning under you when you run or jump rope if you're doing it on a tile floor!. If you're as committed to staying barefoot as I am, get an exercise mat to put under your to absorb the shock!. That's what I do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you should wear something that breathes!. what i mean a bout breathes i mean a shoe or sneaker that breathes!. so that you feel more relaxed and less uncomfortable!. also if you are doing crunches and jump roping or if you were to lift any weights you should wear shoes, or sneakers for protection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No barefoot exercise is good!. In Kill Bill Uma Thurman does a lot of fighting without shoes on and she is very fit!. I read about a guy that only runs marathons barefoot and he seems pretty fit!.

Shoes are just there to make you presentable!. Their calf support is not really a huge issue!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think it would be bad for your foot arches!. I heard if you don't wear shoes your arches drop!. So if you do strenuous activity, you could make them drop a little!? Maybe as a doctor!. But most likely nothing bad will happen!. About muscle tone, I do not think that changes anything!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well!.!.!. we were born without shoes, so obviously we're meant to also be able to run without them, however, if you're overweight in the slightest you NEED good shoes!. Good shoes also help prevent foot injuries, ankle injuries, knee injuries, and back injuries!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it will eventually start really hurting the bottom of your feet and it will feel as if they are bruised!. I worked out barefoot for about a month I think before I could hardly step down because my feet hurt so bad, it's best to wear tennis shoes!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's not bad for anything but your feet!. Just like wearing shoes without support, it can cause your arches to drop and your feet to become flat!. With that, your feet widen and it's harder to fit into heels!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, it is bad if you work out without shoes, because your feet will be terribly hurt, the same reason why we shouldn't wear flip - flop at all time, try and buy some of the aerobic shoes, they're very goodWww@Answer-Health@Com

On tile, you should wear shoes!. the purpose of workout shoes is for cushoning your joints!. That way, your knees and ankles aren't killing you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
