A: Well, it's not as much food, as what you eat, and when you eat!.
If you eat in the morning and have a good steady complex carb breakfast it will boost you're metabolism since you're metablisim is still in "sleep mood" and has'nt had anything to eat!.
You can also eat 5-6 "small" meals a day every 2-3 hours!.
Now yes, exercize can speed up you're metablisim so right on!.
On the other hand, not many foods can increase it some fruits can (blueberries, peaches, bananas, and grapefruit) grapefruit's a biggey! It's really good for you, and breaks down fat cells!. And is a great way to get you're metablosim moving, have it in the morning with you're breakfast!.
Now for drinks that boost you're metabolism, it would be 'green tea' super good and boost's you're metabolism way up!
Try some hot all natural green tea!.
Some people don't like the taste so just add some unsweetened sweetener!.

Yes!. Eat smaller meals more often, like every 3 hours nibble on something!.
If you have some cinnamon with your breakfast or add cayenne pepper to your dinner, this is also supposed to increase your metabolism!.
Definately don't skip meals!.
